1500+? depending where you get the parts, who does the work, and how much power gains you really wanna see. And that's probably a real low estimate I've never priced it before so I can only guess. There's more people on here who've done it and can give you a better estimate.

Before you super charge, i would suggest having the front and rear differentials regeared to 355 or 373. maybe even 410 if you dont do a whole lot of highway driving. this will help your transmission with those loads. if you actually do have 355's then you should be ok.. but 333s or whatever they are just aren't low enough for a work truck imo.

He was obvisouly wrong. My axle number is 19 and that translates to 3.55 gears in the rear axle

Well 3.55s are better but like fordf150farmer said even going to something 4.10s would definitely help with your low end pulling power.

Depends on the type of driving you do. If you do more highway than city you'll burn more gas. But when it comes to towing the gears may actually help the mileage some.

No. Especially not if you wanna drag your friend. An open differential means once your axle sees load it'll only put power to one wheel, where a ls will try to put it more evenly to both.

Ok I'm going to do some pricing on the 4.10. I am going to get air helper springs and rancho 9500 and new leaf springs with overload springs as well to help me carry and support the load

It doesn't have to be 4.10s just something around there. But if your 4x4 figure it's gonna be about 1500 for a gear swap.

Your best bet would be to call around to local off road shops if you have any, sometimes they'll cut you a deal if you buy the parts through them and have them install them for you too. Also don't forget even if you add all the stuff to help with weight in the bed you still shouldn't exceed what your truck is rated for.
