Ok I'll remember. I'm going to do some looking around. My uncle runs a garage so I'll just contact him he has done gears and all of that stuff before. He may be a bit expensive but it'll be worth it I know he does a great Job and he's close to me and j trust him

Yeah I have 3.55. And thanks for all your help and your support. I'm trying to get a hold of my uncle for a rough estimate of how much it will all be. Oh and by the way I hooked up with the my buddy in the school parking lot dint spin at all and I actualy pulled him. And local school jerk with his daddy's 1999 dodge 1500 5.7 magnum I pulled him as well! I'm so excited my truck has more than I thought

No no no I may be young but I'm not that stupid. I'll hook up to a diesel vw bug. Or I'll just use the 7.3 dually diesel against another diesel. But thanks a lot for your help and support. I was wondering if you guys knew about the diffence in rpms and gas milage this would have. I run 265 75 r16 on my truck and there 10 ply

With a lower gear ratio it'll raise your highway rpm's some, but city it shouldn't affect as much because you'll have more power coming off the line so it'll take less work for it to get up to speed. Your gas mileage may suffer a little in everyday driving but when your towing you'll see and feel a world of difference.

Supercharger isn't going to cause any loss in mpg's unless you are always in boost. Lightning's run dual pumps in the tank, but the second one doesn't kick in until you are at 3000rpm. The swap isn't cheap either. Been getting all my parts for mine around for a couple months now. But now gonna sell it all I think. Gonna buy a Lightning pull the motor and put it in my 97 4x4. And go completely built with the Lightning.

So if I pull the money together and get the gear swap to 4.10's that will make a big difference but if I put a supercharger on I would feel an ungodly difference? And if I'm plannin on having this truck for a really long time it'd be worth it in the long run with all that I haul right?

That is TRULY the way to go with these engines. Gears SHOULD be left alone for versatility. Special purpose only IMO.

Roots!
