Who makes the harwood cowl hoods ? I'll check those out as well.

Have to replace the front bumper, it's rusted. Are all 99 -03's the same ? I want one that looks like the 2000 model year, - then paint the valence to match the truck.

I think that hood would be sweet! I have seen them on a couple f150s around town, and if I could find them for less than $800 a piece I would probably buy one.

All of the 99-03 bumpers are the same in the front. Have you already switched grilles and everything over from your 98 set-up?

Okay cool, then I should be able to find one.

I don't have to change grills, my grill is the same as the lightning in above pic, factory honeycomb. Unless you mean something different ? The 98 4x4's and 99 lightnings are the same as far as the grill. Well, mine is anyway.

I wanted to strip the hood just like one member did here, but pics of his truck have been removed *&^^%%$!! Tics me off, I haven't seen another painted the way this one was, -so I'm stuck there as far as figuring out the paint on the hood.

Unless someone here knows this guy , or can find pics of his truck. I've been trying. This trucks like deleted from the internet lol.

This one here -

Can anyone find pics of this truck?

Its the grill surround that is diffetn if you look right below the grill it drops were the 97-98's are straight across the whole thing.

I know from a friends 99 Lightning that this is a good hood. I've not been much on scoops but these look really good. Fit was great especially. My other suggestions would be Harwood, or Cervini's cowl. I've seen a guy on ebay that, if it's the same guy my brother bought from, moulds them in his barn. It's a little place in the heart of south Ohio, Ashville area, and from what I hear was the sole supplier of all 95 Cobra R cowl hoods. That is what my brother said, but anyways, nice stuff. That said, he made a few F-150 hoods one in particular with the 2000 Cobra R style if you like it. I'll see if I can dig the guy up.

This is the guy I was thinking of- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fiber...item414fa4cfcf
