i recently found a fiberglass bolt on 4 inch cowl hood made by champion hoods. what are you guys opinions on that

I just looked on their website, did not see one listed for a 99 F150....anyways, not sure about a 4" cowl, is a little overkill IMO


Here is a 4" cowl on a camaro






If you want a cowl, I would go with a steel cowl hood, something like I have from reflexxions

yea they carry one for a 99, its not on the site but call em they got it for 350 if you pick it up. but hes bringin it to the silver wars at rockingham dragway in NC (which i was going to anyway so it worked out good) for me to pick it up next weekend and i cant wait. but as for the camero i think it would look alot smaller on a truck due to the roof being much higher over the hood than the car. but oh well i guess its what you like,thanks for your opinion tho. ill post pics if it works out ok

^ they sell them in the LMC truck catalog for like $120 before shipping for the set, but you can get them off ebay to. not sure on the price tho

i want a 2-4" cowl but they cost so much!!! my 15 dollar Ebay speical doesnt look so great anymore...

3M tape is all that holds that on. been over 100 a time or too as well...

hey Jbrew if you get a new bumper can i have your old fogs out of your bumper?? as you can tell when i took the expy bumper i didnt grab them

Nice hoods guys! I for one want 1fast4.6's hood on his truck, but for the life of me cant find it. kinda liking the cowl hood from 1clean42

i got the 4 inch from champion hoods and its great. fitup is real good and its very sturdy 2 piece design ill get pics up soon
