That guy has no more of those. I called the number that they have on there and tried to order one. They have the mounting brackets though.

 

My uncle has a cowl with 96 cobra scoops in it...his member name is rus...It looks real nice, that or a plain 2.5" cowl is the way to go IMO.

Holy !!! I haven't seen that hood with a 97-98 4x4 front end yet. That looks GREAT! I like the detail you put into it as well . What does it say along your ram air duct, - is that an emblem or badge of some kind ?

Man, I really like that hood now lol. Now I'm wondering if I should just replace the 98 bumper with the same ? But, -I like the PIAA lights in the lower valence GATOR has, - like his truck period, who doesn't lol. Hard choice!

Iduno, - all you guys did great work on your trucks. Pics are great to look at for comparison. Still, -it's a hard choice with what I like personally, when I like them all. Anyone ever have that problem ?

 

No problem, you got back pretty fast anyway . Yea, the old truck was a 90 F250 w/302. I didn't do anything to the engine but added Hooker headers and true duals, -sounded great. After a few fix-it tickets, I decided to trade it in. They changed the height law here and I was always getting pulled over. Dealer wouldn't take it on trade unless I made it legal. I ended up making out on that, -I found a set of 38's on wagons. I swapped them with the 44's on Center lines. They gave me the same price I was quoted at first with the 44's. It looked like crap with 38's and wagons lol, - but it was legal. They measure the distance from the frame under the cab to the ground and it was within legal requirements w/38's.

The best part in all that is they didn't want the 44's and they gave them back to me, rims and all. Hell, the 38's on wagons only cost me $350. The 44's on Center lines were over a grand lol.

 

Well, she ran out in front of my truck about 10 feet in front of me when i was going about 40 mph in the rain at night. She was walking home from a bar (she lost her drivers license for too many DUI'S). I swerved but still hit here... i stopped, call 911, tried to perform first aid, they air lifted her out to a trauma unit and she passed 3 days later. I wasn't speeding, i had not been drinking, i wasn't talking on a call phone, digging through my cd's, nothing worng. Just wrong road at the wrong time. The entire thing was investigated and no charges were even mentioned. SO yeah, i guess technically did kill her, but she did not really give me a lot of cooperation.. there was a cross walk 50 yards up the road she could have crossed at..

I'll play...just an ebay cowl induction hood...got it for $315 shipped, but haven't found them quite that cheap since then. Sorry for the big pic.
