I should have said, dont **** away all your money trying to make a v6 fast. Making it better is awesome, no different then any other vehicle, hence the have pride in your ride. Hell if you can make one hang with a v8 great, but why spend all that money? buy a v8. The op just strikes me as the type of guy that goes around looking for races and there is always an excuse as why they didnt win.

I was also drunk on monster and vodka when i posted last night. Wife was babysitting our neice and the kids were asleep. brought back memories of a guy that put 4:10s in his 4 cylinder ranger and was shocked when it still wasnt fast or quick.

I havent put **** in my motor to make it fast. All my motor mods totaled up are under 750$.

yup. forgot to mention the sierra video was a very slight downhill probably till about 70ish then it started going slightly uphill around 90 maybe. still shouldnt matter much.

actually i dont know if that is true. i have seen that too and i have also seen 210 for one year but i cant find anything that changed within the 97-05 4.2L to account for that increase and decrease. if anyone can find info, please supply it. id like to see why the rating went up and down between years.

idk about y'all but my 4.6 with 3.73 is slow as hell....and if you drive with a heavy foot the mileage drops from like 14/15--->11/12
