Remove the wheels (showing off my 3/8" Makita cordless impact)
The new goodies
Wheels removed
Doh! New first step check the weather.
Remove caliper (Two 13mm bolts)
Also if you remove the 10mm brake hose bracket on the lower control arm, you should have enough room in the brake hose to lay the caliper on the ground without stressing the hose out.
Remove caliper bracket bolts (17 or 18mm i can't remember)
Use very large channel locks and one of the old brake pads to squeeze the pistons in. Or a large C clamp and an old brake pad
Great write up,,,basically it's the same way I did it on my '87 Stang. I'm just glad you showed that you squeeze in the piston. Wasn't sure it was like the 94-95 Stangs where the piston threads in.
I work at Latemodel, so i didnt have to pay for shipping, but they have a good deal on shipping. Talk to Lee (87fiveoh254) he's a member here and also works at LRS, he's in sales so he can get you taken care
hows the coasting feel with the bearings? when I did mine it felt like the truck could keep rolling forever. iver 180,000 miles on my stock bearings before i repacked mine.
Nice write up... Good to see you starting to work your magic on this 150!

hey pat great write up...I dunno if you've seen it but there is a tool to pack the bearings. Might be less messier, although some people like to get dirty lol, like myself.
