2009 Paint Problems
Well guys i just got done washing the truck tonight and WOW...
I am looking at little tiny specs of rust ALL over the hood and roof. It looked like dust/dirt, upon washing the truck and scrubbing with ever living F*#( out of the hood with my sponge and microfiber, it's still there. I know everyone will want some pics. I will take some tomorrow when the sun comes up..
My question is anyone else with a new 09 F150 have this problem? My truck is an Oxford white 4x4 Lariat.
How i am feeling right about now..
So i drove to the dealership after i was done. Furious the entire drive over there I think i threw about a half can of Cope in my lip!!!
They said they could not do anything until monday. I figured that much! They did tell me that they would do everything to make it right.
I am thinking the hood and entire roof will need to be re-painted. A few small other areas as well...AGAIN!!
So that's where i am sitting with my brand new truck tonight!!

hope over to the detailing forum and do a bit of reading about proper washing and drying techniques.
I would never let the dealership touch the paint on one of my vehicles.
