FedEx man brought me some suspension goodies this morning :)

So I knew at one point or another I wanted to go the coilover route up front but figured it would be some time before I wanted to drop 4 digits on a set of more well known sets. I stumbled upon the F150Lifts boss set and couldn't seem to find any negative remarks about them, and being so much less than the others I figured why not go for it

Plan on installing them tomorrow, might do an AAL in the back depending on how this sits over my current spacers, have to decide what shocks I want to run as well now.

Hoping thet perform as good as they look!

Not yet, but I'll be starting on them as soon as I finish my coffee

I'll be sure to post more pictures and first impressions after!

Well it's done! And so far I'm digging it

Total work time was probably an hour and a half, maybe a bit more. But between having to run and get the right size wrench and socket for the lower strut bolt, and a couple other small quirks it took a few hours. They ride SO much better than the stock setup, it's night and day. No body roll, a nice positive/firm ride that's still very smooth, and although it has a bit of rake right now (not as much as pictures make it seem) I kind of like it this way!

Figured I could rep the sticker for a while, usually don't do stickers on my vehicles but these are small and clean enough, why not.

Granted I have zero expressed with other brands, I would imagine these perform on par with others that are the same style, reservoir shocks might be a completely different animal. For the price I'm super stoked!

Thanks! Definitely happy with how it drives and looks. The more places I take it the better I feel it handle all the but os of my normal city routes. Tonight I did end up ordering a 3" block kit off eBay with u bolts, this should put the truck exactly where I want it. Kind of wish I had gone 35s when I did my tires for the look, but for driveability these are much, much more practical.

Got my rear block kit and some Bilsteins as well!

Bilsteins were dirt cheap, less than $160 through 4WP. Block kit was $60 off eBay, not much into it at all

It's amazing how 1" in the rear can make such an attitude adjustment on a truck

From the start I knew I didn't want to do a full on lift, but wanted more height than it had when I bought it. This is exactly what I wanted, couldn't be happier

Cheers!

Great setup! Did you replace a 6" lift spacer with this kit? If so, is the overall height any taller or lower than the spacer you had before?

The truck previously only had a 2" level up front with factory 2" blocks. So it is now taller than the previous setup I had (truck came with the spacers when I bought it.)
It has settles just a tad over the last couple weeks, but very minimal. The ride is awesome with the Boss coilovers and Bilsteins

With the new coil-over setup how much actual lift were you able to accomplish? I have been looking at doing the same for some time and do away with my 2.5" Autospring spacer up front but with my current tire and wheel setup I can not afford to loose any lift.

They're adjustable all the way to 3", currently set around 2.75". I might crank them to 3 once I do upper control arms.
