What size rim/tire combo can I fit on my screw?

This is my first post here guys and let me tell you this site rocks! Just came from Focaljet.com after a year of tricking out a Focus. SO here is my question. I would like to get a Rim/Tire package to replace my nast stock 16's. I want to stay with a 16" wheel but want bigger tires... How big can I go or should I go before it starts to look like I really need a lift. I also don't want to rub alot. Thanks Guys!

First I would like to say welcome...

4x4 or 4x2?

If you have a 4x4 you should be able to run 16x8 or 16x10 with 305's but you may have to crank your bars and trim a little of the valance....

Thanks...I have the 4x4 and I would like to fit the largest I can without having to touch anything else...so no mods or cutting. Any ideas?

If you don't want to trim your front valance or raise your torsion bars about the biggest you can go with is a 285/75 16 on a 16X8. This looks really nice and should work well for ya. Seen this on a lot of trucks.

I have 305's (33's) on my Screw 4x4. 16x8 rims...no rub at all.

Yea, guess that would work. I have mine on 10's. That's why mine rub (or did) a little. Just trimmed the corner off the front valance.
