Finally got those F1's. Now I just need a little drop. What do you think?

 

looks great doc, def lower it and get the L bumper/lights/grille. thats a great color for an L, is that the dark shadow gray that everyone keeps talking about?

 

Yeah, it is dark shadow grey. I already have the bumper. I just need the brackets, fog lights and paint. If you notice, I already have the lightning grille.

Yes, they are nice. They actually ride alot better than stock. But my stock tires had like 45lbs of pressure also.

 

 

Yeah, I bought the truck to make a clone. Couldn't afford a lightning and my cobra cures the need for speed. So I decided to buy the f150 and fake it out!

 

Good for you. With the time and money invested in making a Lightning clone you could of got the real deal for a couple of thousand more. More power to you. Have fun with your truck!

 

How do you figure? I got my truck tax, tag and title for less than $23,000. A new lightning was $33,000 tax, tag and title.
That is close to a $10,000 difference! I only have $1400 in the wheels/tires $300 in a bumper cover $200 in grilles and haven't bought the ground effects yet, but they are close to $500. That is only $2400 which is a far cry from $10,000.

My truck gets an average of 17.5 mpg and my insurance is $40/month less than it would be on a lightning.


Believe me. If there was any way that I could have gotten one, I would have!
