Best Website for Wheels and Tires

Hey all,

I'm looking to buy some new wheels and tires before winter, and I'm just curious what sites you all are buying from online?

I know a couple website, but what websites seem to have the best deals on wheels and tires?

Also, are there any sites that let me compare prices of one tire on several different sites?

Thanks for all the help!

The most reputable site is tirerack.com, but shipping costs can be a killer. I would highly recommend looking at local outlets first.

However, if you feel like making an appointment and driving to South Bend, IN, you can do a pickup and get installation services.

Discounttiredirect.com. I have bought at least 6 sets of tires and a set of wheels. Fast free shipping. The set I got last week, the email said they had to come from a different warehouse and would take longer to get. Had them in 2 days. I've had a couple warranty dealings, broken center cap and a set wore put too fast, and they were as good as I could have asked for.

I'm honestly surprised to see discount tire direct on here! My roomate got some tires and wheels from them a year or so ago, and said they had decent service. It must have been the place he had them shipped to.
However, I have noticed that discounttire.com is a little cheaper than discounttiredirect.com, is there any correlation between these sites? They seem to be almost exactly the same hahahaha

I don' know if they are affiliated with each other or not but if you find something you like, calling discounttiredirect.com will save you even more money and if you are good at haggling they will throw in plenty of freebies.

Discount tire is a retail store. Discount tire direct is an online store only.
I had a warranty issue with tire rack and it was a huge pain. A set of 60k mile tires were shot in 15k and i got less than 100 bucks for all 4 and it took longer than a month. When a similar thing happened discount tire had me a new set in a couple days. No charge.

I ordered a set of Mickey Thompson rims from them a while back and was very pleased. Shipping cost was reasonable and got them in less than a week. They usually have a sale or special going on and also have a garage sale section of overstock and discontinued items so it's easy to find a deal.

Thanks for all the input guys!

I'm really torn between the BFG AT KO's, GoodYear Wrangler DuraTrac's and the original Mickey Thompson ATZ's.
