Thanks a bunch Frog! Gloss pillar covers? Are those the things between the windows on the doors along the door jamb?

Those are my next purchases! Gloss pillar covers and door handles. OH! And window visors. But I can't decide on in-channel or the stick-on ones.

I don't want to troll this thread to reply on the other thread if you have an comment!

Diesel,

https://www.f150online.com/forums/ap...-have-mod.html

That's the thread with the link/info for the pillars. They're a great cheap mod. I suggest ordering the glossy door handles from Tasca Auto Parts, not sure what the item # is, but if you call them I'm sure they can help. I personally have no experience with the window visors so I can't really help there.

Again your truck looks great, you blacked it out the right way.

May as well broaden your search, I had the terra grapplers and they aren't much to look at. I got bored with them quickly.

If your front shocks are orignail they could have lost some standing power and dropped you truck by now. That is most likely why your tires rub.

Well today I was supose to install my new tires on my truck. mdhawkin said they would fit, but he is WRONG. They do not fit. I was supose to put on 295/60/20 Nitto Trail Grapplers.

Well bad news to tell. The tires will not fit the truck with the stock rims. Lucky for the mech. he swaped 1 of the front tires 1st and did a test and it hit the front upper control arms with it even on the hoist. So he took it off and now I need to find some rims to get them to fit.

So I'm looking at these right now, what do you think... I picked 4 I like #1 the best

Interesting that those tires didn't fit as there are a number of guys on here running that size tire with a level kit and stock wheels.

It may just be my computer but your first three links aren't working.

Out of the 4 wheels you chose.. I like #3 black/machined Fuel Boost the best. Not much of a fan of all black wheels, looks good on some trucks but not all.. Just my opinion of course..

The 4th wheel is the only one that shows up for me.

And as for the 295/60s not fitting, consider 1/4" spacers to give the OEM wheels backspacing. 07FX4 on here needed to do that to get his to clear.

Thanks for your input, with this being a FX4 and there not being any chrome on the truck. I think having chrome wheels on it would look out of place. I wish there were pics of white trucks on here to view with different kinds of rims on it.

Check out Nassty's FX-4 with the 295x60x20 Nitto Trails on the stock wheel's. They fit with only a leveling kit. Truck look's great too!

There must a difference with the 2011's and the 2012's. Cause I saw that they were touching the UCA. DarrenWS6 said use a spacer which would work but is not safe in my mind. He said use a 1/4" spacer, but I would need at lease a 1" spacer to be safe. But it would be a lot cheaper.
