need some help....

Quick question - My 04 f150 has leveling kit and Ive been running 325/60 and 295/70 18's for a while. It's time to buy new tires and I really want to run Nitto 325/65/18 Terragrapplers - I know they will fit except for rubbing the upper control arm - I need to get spacers for the wheels. My question is what size spacer should I get - and does anyone know where I can find them for a good price?

Thanks!

1/4" spacer should be enough, but I'm not for sure on that

Ive heard from most people that spacers are a bad thing.

I have too. I've never used them, and I don't know anybody that has. I've heard they crack sometimes which leaves your tire loose and wobbly while your going down the road

A 1/4 inch spacer is not that bad, big key is to make your you get enough turns/threads on your lug nuts. Ideally its always better to avoid them if possible.

Just curious the overall height difference between the 60 and 65 is about 1 inch, will that .5 of an inch make a difference since they are the same width as what you have ran before.

The 65's touch the UCA the 60's are about 1/8 inch away from it. So I figure with a spacer - even just a 1/4 inch one - that will be enough to keep the tire off the UCA while riding.
Thanks to everyone for the feedback - I will let ya know what I decide to go with once I make the decision.

Keep the spacer as thin as possible. I've always heard thick wheel spacers are more dangerous than thin ones. 1/4" should enough for you

ok thank you - I found some on summitracing.com that are 1/4 and supposedly universal fit.
I may try them.

You can get them that are made for your lug pattern

I would stick with a 35x12.5 max on the stock wheel's and avoid the spacer's. Not worth it for an extra 1/2 inch of width. Just my 2 cent's
