Hi, I have a black f-150 4x4 flareside and need to level it about one inch in the front and i was wondering if i would be able to just turn my torsion keys and level it that one inch? and if so would it be safe? and would I need an alignment afterwards? Thanks

My truck with my worn out Maxxis Bighorns I keep for mudding.

My truck with its everyday driving Nitto Crosstek HD's

Running Bilstein 5100's set at 2" lift. My next set of tires will probably be 305/70/17 Maxxis Bighorns.

no you will be just fine with all of that.

all trucks are different, so worst case scenario youll rub a tiny bit on the bumper trim or a arm, but neither one of those are bad.

but again i doubt youll rub with that combo.

what tires you going with? and post pics once its done too!!

I ran them unleveled with zero rubbing, +18 offset on 20x9 wheels. Now I am 2.5" leveled in preparation of my next tire ( 34.5x12.14 ) and the 33s look like 31s because of the level. They measure out to a 32" tire because they have almost completely worn out. So as long as you have a good backspacing, nothing less than 0, nothing greater than 30, you should be alright.

Edit
Here are a couple pics. Also, these wheels and tires are the exact ones from my 2004 F150 a couple years back, here was my original post in this thread. https://www.f150online.com/forums/4571907-post15.html. They now currently have almost 53,000 miles on them. Awesome tire!

Un-leveled, 33x12.5/20 Toyos on 20x9 XD Monster wheels, +18 offset.
