what offset/backspacing was your wheels?
I also had 35's on my black truck with a 2.5" leveling kit, but my aftermarket wheels were offset perfect to not have any rubbage. We are talking about a 10" wide wheel with a 4.5" offset.

Yes....I'm proof you can....Dillion thinks you can't run 37's on a T bar crank and a 3" body lift on a 97-03 F150 but me and my friends do that to.
But let me add you will have to do some trimming. NOT hacking just trimming. This is not the end of the world. It's easy to do.

Why do people whine so much about having to trim? We drive FORD F-150's not Ferarri F150's ha. I crammed 35x12.5x18 TOYO MT's on 18x9.5 wheels with 0MM offset and I ha to cup a little off the front and back, but not a single rub otherwise. This is my old truck. To be honest, it should go like this, 2"=33-34, 2.5"=35, 4"=35-36, 6"= 37's, 8"= 38's and so on.
I had plenty of room, on a 2wd none-the-less.

Come drive your truck in MO or these other states that get a lot of snow and ice. Your truck will be rusted out from all the salt in a year. Thats why we dont want to cut and chop.

Sorry but since when does cutting plastic make something rust? If you wash all that crud out from under your truck, it wont rust... and a couple inches of plastic isnt going to stop something from rusting. Just my opinion. I was stationed in Maryland during the winter last year and the truck above had zero rust after I moved back to Texas.

Thanks man! I miss it every day when I get into my new one.. I need to lift it ASAP. But funds are tight sadly. Valentines day and anniversary killed me this year. Ha.

Just to make all the non-believers mad, heres a 2WD with 6" on 37's.... Best looking F150 ever built IMO.

i wouldnt mind trimming, i was just wondering if it was required. lol i'll deff go 35's because the 285/70's look a bit to small and to me a little trimming won't hurt anything at all, plus the look of a more full wheel well looks better i think.

brazzeal15, that truck is awesome looking! lol im jealous to say the least..

Indeed it does. Ive always been one to put the biggest tire I can fit. With proper gearing, the truck will look awesome and perform awesome too. Thanks DanielWalker. I sold it in November 2010, and I miss it every day.

Im going to say yes. Just on the basis that Ive seen an f150 just like yours, same wheels and everything, run 35" mud grapplers on his truck. Before it he had a 4" Lift and 3" body on 37" procomp extreme mt's.
