running stock rims with a 6" lift

I was just wondering if it is possible to run my stock 18' rims with a 6" lift on my 04 supercrew. I am having trouble finding a rim that I like, but I would like to get the lift done now. Otherwise does anyone have pics of their rims so i can get some ideas.

I'm going through the same thing. It's hard to find one that I like as well. But you should be fine with an 18"wheel, 6 inch lift, and 35 in tire. My only suggestion is, if you buy some new tires now for the stock 18 inch rim, ,you're gonna have to stick with an 18 custom wheel if you ever find some you like, Unless you're willing to buy 20" wheels and new tires that fit 20 inch rims/wheels. Here's a website i'm using to look at rims.

most lifts's will state you cant use rims w/more than 5.5" backspacing.

Rancho is the only lift that says you can use your stockers

so if you want to be problem free while running stock wheels , look into the 4" Rancho lift

When I had my 04 I had a 6" Fabtech and would run my stock 18's in the winter with no problems.

I have a fabtech 6" with 2" spacer on stock wheels and tires for now. I am trying to find a used set of 35's locally but until then I am using stockies. It looks hideous but I have had no issues whatsoever and that includes it feeling tippy.

Yeah, I've read that it is possible to use the OEM wheels with OEM size tires with lifts that didn't recommend using them.
