oh god, somethin else i want

So im thinkin about gettin new wheels too, what can i say, i have nothin to do in my off time except look for stuff to do to my truck.

Just a refresher, i have a 2006 superduty FX4 XLT supercab with a full bed. Im puttin 35x12.5/R17 BFG KM2's on it, i do not want to lift it or level it, it looks level already.

But wheels, one i have locking hubs, can i get an aftermarket wheel thatll accomodate that and 2 I like the **** Cepek Torque's

But, as far as bolt spacing, offset and backspacing, what am i lookin for for my truck, this wheel only comes in 17x8.5, which is fine. but what about the rest, which wheel do i need to order.

If someone could look at their sight and tell me which ones are for my truck, thatd be great

Thanks

Chris

your bolt pattern is 8x170mm

you will need to get a wheel that has the hub open for the locking hubs to stil out. Not sure who offers this.

id look for something 17x8 or 17x10 4.5" of Backspacing seems popular for that truck.

BS is the distance from the mounting surface of the wheel (where it bolts to the hub) to it's rear edge. I've seen a lot of stock 4x4 SD's running 35x12.50's by using the OEM wheels. However if you go with a wider aftermarket wheel you are gonna need a leveling kit at least.

on the **** cepeck torques, the 17x8.5 is 8x170 has 5 backspace and +06mm offset.

whats the width of my stock rims, and im tryin to get wider rims for the 35x12.5's, too thin a rim will make the tire bow and wear more in the biddle right?

for a 35x12.5 id look for a 17x8 or 17x10

yes a rim thats too narrow will make the tire CROWN.

wandell said a 17x9 will be too wide for my truck with only a 2.5 inch levleing kit. i believe he also said that quite a few people run 35x12.5's on stock rims.

spy specs:
XD79779087312N 17" x 9" -12 4.53 8x170
17" x 8" 18 5.21 8x170

KM2 specs
3000 lbs. 50 psi 20/32" 68 lbs. 8.5-11" 10" 12.5" NA 34.8" 598

is it better to go with the 17x8 spys and will they be able to accept my manual hubs, or stick with stock and live with "crown"
