What is a good mud terrain tire?

I just bought a set of Pro Comp Xtreme wheels (20x8.5) and I am going to start looking for a good mud terrain tire. I need a good looking tire that will be good on the road and off the road. I live in Florida and I like to go in the back woods of these little ponds to go fishing. Find alot of mud sometimes. I am looking for a great all around tire that will have an aggressive look and not wear too fast. What is everyone's opinion and what have you used and liked? Oh and the size I am looking for is 305/50 R20 or 33x12.5. Have anyone used the kumho MT's? I see those are a decent price.

Thanks in advance.............

bgf mts are pretty BA. all my friends run em. also the goodyear mts are pretty legit too. ive personally seen both tires in action and their wearing isnt too bad either. the new bfg KM2s i hear are pretty nice. im looking to run them on my truck in a 35 application.

hmm never have seen the kuhmo mts, but if u search em out and put "review" behind it ull proabably get like a 4x4 magazine review or somethin similar.
good luck! :]

I have personal expierience with the BFG mudder and ProComps both are great tires, but I believe the BFGs wear better.

I'd suggest the BFG MT KM, TOyo MT, Pro Comp Xtreme MT, Mickey THompson MTZ, **** Cepek Mud Country or the Kuhmo MT. The Cooper SST is also a good MT and looks very similar to the Toyo MT.

The BFG m/t, toyo m/t, or the Nitto m/t. I would personally go with the BFGs.

Check out this site. It was helpful when I bought tires.

I bought the Firestone M/Ts, they were ranked as one of the best!

The bfg's are my number one choice, but I really like the goodyear wrangler also. Toyo also makes a nice tire though.

One of my friends has a set of Kumho MTs on his Silverado - not only do they look awesome, he says he's been happy with the performance and mileage so far (30k on them). Had they had the size I wanted and had not been back ordered 4-5 months last summer I would have bought them (I ended up with the AT version).

GL with your selection
