How much for Factory 20s?

Discount Tire has said they will buy my factory 20s, but they cannot give me a price until the see them. They are in great shape without any scratches or scuffs. The tires have less than 20Ks miles on them.

How much should I expect to get from them?

DOn't expect too much. I'd check EBay and see what they are selling for.

I sold mine for about $600 back in '06 when I bought my FX4 new. Btw, your truck looks exactly like what mine used to! Check out my gallery for pics!

I sold mine for $850 with around 10,000 miles on them. The wheels had no imperfections whatsoever.

HivoltageFX4,

I have the bed rug, a folding black cover and true duals with 3.5" rolled tips, so our trucks are strikingly similar. I have the painted door handles, painted front grille and dark headlights that came with the 07 Luxury package. (along with the heated leather seats, six CD with Amp, etc.)

I like your choice of black wheels, but I am set on getting the Toyo MTs because of all of the good reviews I have heard on this board. I also want to paint or change my running boards to black because I am going to get an all black teflon wheel from AR without any chrome or silver highlights. I even want to get the Black Anodized lug nuts...

To the others,

I have not decided if I am going to sell the factory wheels, but I wanted to get an idea of how much I could expect from DT. If I can get the package for around $1800 with my trade-in, I may just do that instead of trying to sell them myself. I live North of Houston, so driving them to Dallas would be a long way for me to go.

KR, if you do plan on selling them please put them up for sale in the classifieds section. Thanks.

And guys, please don't make offers in the threads, use PM or email. Thanks.

I sold the ones off my 08, wheels, tires with TPMS sensors still in there for $850 on Craigslist when they had around 5,000 miles on them. At the time BN takeoffs on ebay were between $1000 and $1250 plus shipping. Don't forget about the TPMS sensors on your new wheels/tires unless the idiot light won't bother you. If you remove them from your current 20's you would have to think about $$$ for dismount/mount and then you have to purchase new adhesive tape for the back of each sensor. I found a BN set of factory TPMS sensors with bands for my new wheels on ebay for $125 and then it was another $20 at the dealer to have the new sensors "calibrated" to the truck to turn the idiot light off. Your 20's are probably worth more to a buyer if you can leave them in and DT might deduct more from your "trade in" if you decide to reuse yours.

I've seen those rims in excellent condition go for 1200 for everything, but that's also in Canadian funds.

Try for $1000. Maybe a private sale in the super shopper or something will yield better results.

Not trying to hijack your thread, Texas. But i have a similar question. I have Stock 17's(wheels and tires) off an '08 STX, perfect condition with less then 3K miles on them. How much should/could i get for them?

Thanks.

$500 - $800 sounds right for used stock wheels with good tread life tires.
