Go with Powerslot instead. Get some Carquest Blue Semi Metallic pads or Wagner Thermo Quiet pads. Rotor Pros tend to be over priced and who knows how good those pads really are.

I am not sure you'll be able to find powerslots just now, there was a huge backorder on them after Centric Parts purchased powerslot.

I recommend going with the Stoptech (one step above powerslot) slotted rotors and Centric posi quiet brake pads. That is what I am running on my truck and i absolutely love them. The posi quiet pads are designed for larger trucks and SUV's and work especially well with towing.

If you want to go with an all aroudn upgrade you can get the stoptech stage 2 kit here...

or just go ahead and select only the items you need right now

That kit is nice but $100 shipping on top of the $700 price is a bit steep, especially since you can buy a big brake kit for almost that....... Just FYI!

Thanks for the heads up, but a big brake kit is in the 3k range for just the fronts.

Advice

Rich at Rotorpros sells a good product (rotors) at a great price. If you are going this route, why not get both front and rear rotors and then be done...?

If you post your questions in the supercharger and 04-08 F150 forums, you will receive more answers due to a higher level of traffic.

Input from those who own 04+ F150's with upgraded brakes can provide a first hand review of the product and it's pros and cons.

Supercharged owners will provide addition input based on their needed for better stopping power.

I do own my 04+ F-150. I will have to say however after having to use their customer service I am quite pleased, they help me diagnose a huge problem with minimal expense. Therefore I will have to retract my previous statement. Way to go Rich!

I have a 2004 F150 FX4 and I ordered from rotorpros 4 drilled and slotted rotors with their pads total cost was 350.00 shipped. they are Centric rotors and pads. I have about 1000 miles on them and they are still great. Just my 2 cents.
