Need pics of different tire brands and sizes

I am gonna lift my 04 FX4 with a 2 1/2" levelling kit and an add a leaf for the rear. The local garages tell me that the biggest tire I can fit is a a 285/65 r 18. I believe I can fit bigger. I am looking for pics of any trucks out there with this levelling kit to get some ideas of what some different tires will look like.

Thanks.

Usually the rule of thumb is 33's on a 2wd with a leveling kit, and 35's on a 4wd with a leveling kit. And 33's on 4wd with aftermarket wheels. There are other guys on here that can help you out. I got 33's on my leveled 2wd. I just need to get some better pics.

Right. With a leveling kit you can fit a 35x12.50 using the oem wheels. They will rub the control arms slightly at full steering lock however.

I've got some pics of 33 and 35 inch tires in my gallery on my leveled 2004 4x4, 35 inch tires will fit if they are on the correct size wheel.

not really one to tell people to go search but...if you search the galleries you'll probably find a lot more pictures there than what people will respond with. theres a ton of guys running a leveling kit and 33's or 35's with pictures up

When the tires were on my 9" wheels I had to do a little trimming on the lower wheelwells. Nothing major. If you mount the tires on stock wheels or ones with close to stock specs you ought to be OK. The more you stick out in the front the more chances to rub.
