Ok, fellas. I just ordered my rancho lift and now I'm torn on wheels. I really wanted black rockstars but I saw a white truck the other day with black wheels and I was a little dissapointed. Would some of you mind showing me some pics of your white trucks with black wheels (rockstars)? Or even chrome wheels for that matter so I my decision is a little easier. I'm going with 35" tires and either a 17" or 18" rim depending on which wheels. Thanks million!

Just got my wheels put on a couple of weeks ago. I too was torn between all black or polished & black. I'm really not a big fan of all black wheels. But some do look sweet. Click on the camera to see pics of mine. Not alot of black on it, but enough for me.

I was just lookin at tires and wheels yesterday and they told me that 18" rockstars are on a national backorder . So if they are right (hopefully they aint) good luck finding a set. Unless your looking at something bigger.

 

The 18" Rockstars ARE on a national backorder...tough as hell to find. KMC themselves only had two in stock as of about a week ago. However, after days of looking I found one place and one place only that had some. wayneswheels.net...$599 for a set, $738 after shipping. They may still have some. I told the guy I spoke with about the backorder and he said it must be that he bought them all.

I'm kinda reconsidering though just because they are so common. They look amazing though. Have you guys ever seen the ION version of the rockstar? They look almost the same but its kind of a cheesy looking because its an obvious knock off,

 

If nothing's changed in the last week or so, rimzone doesn't have any 18" rockstars either. They said it would be a couple weeks minimum before they got any more in. I decided that I couldn't wait. Paid a little more due to shipping costs, but they're on the truck whereas I'd be waiting for who knows how long otherwise. I have seen those ION 185's...yeah, no doubt they're a knockoff. They don't look quite as good as the Rockstars IMO.
