Just Switched to AT's from Mudds

Well I just mounted Toyo AT's from BFG Muds, man what a difference the ride makes. Yes you give up the beefy look however the drivability is nite & day. Since I travel 45 miles one way to work I feel like Im in a luxury sedan now. The BFG's where good to me, I did get 55000 miles out of them still with meat left on em' too. Lets see what the toyo's bring milage wise.... The ride is certainly an improvement though.

I had the Toyo At's on my powerstroke, I got almost 70000 out of them. Great tire!

I went from some agressive uniroyal muds, to MTR's and then to some goodyear all terrains....and now pep boys special all terrains. Yes the muds look soooo much better, but the ride is sooo much better with AT's

You almost have to run an all-terrain tire running that many miles each day, I have a set of 285x70x17 Toyo AT's for a spare set. The only thing is that the sidewalls could be a little more aggressive looking. Other than that they are great tires. I'm running close to 100 miles round trip to work and back on my BFG AT's right now and the gas is killing me! Your truck look's great with those tires.

Should look into the Nitto Terra Grapplers. Made by toyo, but with a slightly more aggresive looking sidewall with comparable mileage. Loved mine

With my job I now drive just about as far as you do every day. 40 miles one way....however instead of switching tires I switched to a 89 Toyota Camry beater that gets 30+ MPG Still love and use my truck, but not for that commute.
