If you have a 04-08 4x4 they will fit.

I'm actually thinking about doing the same but I have a '08 FX2. At the two shops I went to they both said I can get 20x8.5 Rockstars and 305/50 Toyo M/Ts to fit with just a 2.5" leveling kit. Was I given junk information?

With that wheel, I'd think you could also fit a 305/55-20 (33x12.50).

Assuming I be getting the 2.5" AS, 20x8.5 rims, and 305/55s would there be any issues with tire rub or the wheels making the wheel wells look "tacky" by over filling it? Also, due to the backspacing/offset of the rims, would there be a lot of tire sticking out from the wheel well? I'm a newbie when it comes to wheel stuff. Though I do know what the R20 means on the tire wall!!!

I saw a picture of another FX2 (member 5.4 Lariet) on the forums with 20x10 rims and 305/50 Nitto Terra Grapplers and it looks great. But in his description he doesn't mention if he only has the leveling kit. I would ask him but it seems he's been away since about November of '07.

Those wheels will actually tuck in 1/2 inch farther than the oem 20's. They would only stick out 1/2 inch farther than the OEM 17's and 18's.

Would the wheels in question (20x8.5, +35mm) with a 305/55/20 fit ok without a leveling kit on a 04-08 4x4?

Arent the oem 20's 20x8.5 with a +44mm offset? If so, wouldnt the rockstars with a +35mm offset stick out a little more?

They would probably fit without a leveling kit, but they will look better with it. I believe the OEM 20's are 8.5 inches wide with 5.5 inches of backspacing, but I don't know what offset that comes out to be.

The factory 20's are a +32 offset according to my ford brochure. That being said, the said wheel and tire combo will NOT fit because of the BS. I had less than a .25" of clearance with my old setup and the extra positive BS will definately make the lug of the tire rub the control arm and ball joint. The KMC wheel is available with a +10 offset, that will be the one you'll want.

P.S. A local guy made this mistake and the would not fit.
