possible, but not that i know of, and the way it's cracked it would have taken a serios impact, and the tire would have had to completely compress and those nittos are pretty rigid, im hoping for a factory defect and maybe this insane heat wave may have had something to do with the aluminum expanding, who knows thats over my head, thanks for the returns guys. ive got a friend that owns a shop, hes gonna contact them tuesday and ill let yall know what happens.

are those wheels machined or cast? I thought they were CNC machined, but if they are cast, its possible that the raw casting work hard to see if there is a warranty on them- I would think there should be.

Either way, that sucks. Hope you get that cleared up. By the way- beautiful truck

If they won't cover them, and they a in excellent shape, just order a new pair switch out the broken one with the new and return them. If that can work.

I wouldn't try that. I'm sure they will warranty them. I'd mention that you have discussed the wheels failure with a few thousand of your friends on F-150 Online and none of them have had any problems with Moto Metal wheels, but they are all interested in seeing if they stand behind their products.

I think Wandell advice is the best way to go. Being that this is a forum that is frequented by many potential buyers- People who are looking to purchase these wheels are going to be interested in seeing if the company stands behind their product and will replace the defective wheel.
Any update?

i had my friend call them, he showed his *** for a min ive sent the other one back and a new ones on the way. i guess they didnt want the F-150 nation descending on them. i really appreciate the input fellas. oh yeah have any of you that have moto metals had any problems with the lug nut caps coming of when you put them on. four of mine came off, i had to put some jb weld in them and beat the cap back on with a rubber hammer
