Moto Metal 18x8 w/ 4 3/8" backspacing & Nittos

hey all,
(Note: I have 2.5" AS)
I have an opportunity to buy the following for $800 and need a little input. I took the time today to go and measure the backspacing and the tread depth. I would really prefer that they don't stick out so let me know. Any help appreciated, thanks

The following combo is already mounted/balanced & ready for install and came off a f-150:

black Moto Metal 18x8 with 4 3/8" backspacing

and

Nitto Terra Grapplers 285/60/18

the worst Terra Grappler has a tread depth ranging from 6/32" on the edges to 8-9/32 towards the middle.

Thanks everyone,
Edward

If the wheels are 8 inches wide they will probably fit. If they are 9 inches wide I doubt it.

RIght. Also, what year truck are you talking about? I was thinking you were referring to an 04-07 but your sig says you have a 95.

Ed, I have 18x9's with 5" inches of B/S on 35'' Nitto's and they would not clear with the leveling kit. The only way they would clear is with the 4" lift. I am with Wandell-I doubt they will fit with so little b/s and yes they will stick way out even if you trimmed like mad to get them to fit.

wow thank you for the help!! well I guess that probably explains why they are for sale?

so what backspacing do I need on a 18x9 wheel to be just right?

I guess I may have to order a new set so any help appreciated on this.

I am guessing I would prob get the Moto Metal 951 in an 18 x 9

Thanks again,
Edward

Ed, that may be why they are for sale and it really is a great deal!

From what I have read the suggested and max b/s on our trucks is about 6inches or something close to that (that is what Rancho recommended with my lift.) Also, because you have a 4x2 it does not sit as high as a stock 4x4, I think the difference is about 2 inches. According to Nitto's site those tires are 31.38 inches tall and 11.5 inches wide. I think the tires would be fine but you should stick closer to the stock b/s of 5.5 inches on the rims to prevent rubbing and sticking out past the wheel well.

Hey Wandell, any more insight?
