Eh, the fronts stick out just a bit more than the rears anyway, so I don't think it would be noticeable. Just make sure you keep your lugs torqued down on a regular basis if you plan on putting a spacer on.

Unless you are serious about mudding just trim the siping off the edge of the tire.

What is the general consensus on wheel spacers? Good? Bad? Solution to my problem?
Would I need all four or will a 1/4" difference in the front and back be unnoticeable?
If you couldn't tell I’m working on a budget here...
I ran those on a car and they worked fine.

I don't typically recommend wheel spacer, unless some specifics are met:

1) the wheel has as much or more backspacing than stock - yours does.
2) only use a small spacer - 2" spacers just put too much pressure on the ball joints and wheel bearings.

A 1/4" difference front to back is unnoticable - I would use them only on the front and as I stated before, a 3/8" would be perfect, but a 1/4 should be fine.

Hey, are you SURE it's rubbing there? Or are you just hearing your CV boot squeak? I just put my 325/60-18's (18x9 with 6 3/8" backspace) on my '04 FX4 and I have about a half inch between the knuckle and the tire. You may wanna put it back up on the jacks and look closely. In the pic, you have space. I rotated mine while they had it up on jacks and I could hear my CV boot squeak some while it was rotating (remember that front driveshaft will turn when you rotate the front wheels).

Good point. It looks like there is room in the pic. My 22's are close, but they are not touching. Mine are so close that when a deer ran into our Expy it knocked the wheel into the upper ball joint/control arm.

Ok, I'm running the same size tire as you, but with nearly a quarter inch MORE backspacing. No rub.

I'm about 99% positive they were rubbing on ball joint at the end of the control arm. After I took the wheel/tire back off I could see exactly where it was rubbing. There was a nice shinny spot about the size of a nickel where it wiped the road grim off.

I'm going to try again on Sunday. Maybe I will try the passenger’s side this time.

Wipe some soapy water on the inner sidewall of your tire, then spin it all around and see if there is a stripe in the wetness from the rubbing.
