ive got a red truck and would be interested in painting mine red. overall, what is the best paint???

Your right about getting ur hands dirty. also not to many people can say that they have polished brake calipers.

what is the best paint company for painting calipers and caliper surround????

on my last truck (wont say what make it was) I used the G2 product, and 2 years later i had no chipping, and i abused the truck off road, but im sure that there are other brands that will hold up to, but i have only used G2 so i really cant compare any 2 brands, but G2 worked good for me

I have never really picked out a caliper or brake specific kit/paint.
Im sure there are better ones, and the duplicolor one has ceramic in it.

I was really going to try the duplicolor (i think) kit but they wanted too much IMO for a simple paint. That and the blue didnt really match what i wanted to do.

as long as you clean the surface, almost all exterior paints will do well.

on my v8 s10 i rattlecanned the calipers yellow to match my black and yellow engine theme and i did those with regular engine block paint. The paint outlasted the caliper (over 6 years) as i had to replace two of them and the paint would still clean up and look like new.

That is why i had no second thoughts about using engine block rattle can on the screw.

alright...sounds like a coin flip. what does the ceramic do for you that is is the duplicolor?

i may just go to my local store and buy whichever brand they carry....
