Unusual question.

What's the largest tire I can go with without a leveling kit? I kinda like the rake and hearing some horror stories have kinda pushed me away from a leveling kit.

I really like the Motto Metal 951s, although I don't know how the back spacing effects being able to fit a tire without rubbing. And I think I'm looking for something along the lines of a a 295/70/17 tire wise.

But I'm open to any ideas. I really don't want a lift or a massive truck, just a nice solid foot print.

Thanks guys!!!

Yeah, I'd stick with a narrower 33 inch tire like the 285/70-17 or 285/65-18. The 295/70-17 (34x12.00) Nitto's will probably work also.

I was actually looking at the nitto terra grapplers. So you think with the nittos I'll still be good with the backspacing of the 17'' motto metal 951s?

It'll be close. How wide are the Moto Metal wheels you want to use and what is the backspacing?

4 1/2 backspacing and they are 17x9's.

Do they make a leveling kit smaller than 2"? I would assume the less level it is the less change that will be made to the geometry of the suspension.

Yeah, I believe Autospring makes 1 and 1.5 inch kits. I'm not positive, but I have my doubts about those wheels fitting without a leveling kit because of the backspacing. Maybe someone has a similar setup.

You need to talk with JLitt, he just installed Moto Metal 951's on his Screw. He has a post in this section, but doesn't give a lot of information on size, lift, etc.
