Where to buy HD 22"s?
I have been looking for wheels since i bought my 06' XL std. cab, well i finally got the idea, that the Harley Davidson wheels would looks nice on this, the problem is, trying to find them at a decent price, not sure what a dealership sells them for, and on ebay, they are way too exspensive.
Well, i found a website that sells the 6 lug 22" HD wheels for $350 a piece,$1400 for a set, just rims. Which anyone who has looked up 22" prices, this is pretty affordable.
Now on to tires, i found at tirerack, these
275/45VR22 XL Avon Tech ST Blackwall $210 a piece.
that is the stock tire size i believe.
But i have been reading on here and everyone recomends 305 series.
if so then these are my options.
Kuhmo Ecsta's 305/45VR22 Price: $175.00 (each)
Yokohama Geolandar H/T-S G052 305/45HR22 Price: $200.00 (each)
Yokohama Parada Spec-X 305/45VR22 Price: $208.00 (each)
that is about $2350, before shipping for a set of 22"s with tires.
I have owned the Kuhmo ecsta's on my SRT-4 and didn't have any problems, i don't do burnouts or hit curbs, and in the winter i will put stock wheels and tires back on. So do i need to worry about the quiality of the tire that much?
Anyone else know of a better way to go about this? Thanks

06 HD 22" tires and wheels
Dude,
I just bought yesterday morning the '06 HD 22" stock wheels and the matching pirelli scorpion 275/45/22 tires mounted, balanced and shipped to my door for $1700 total.
The company I found on Ebay. Their # is 1 800-242-2297.
I'll post pics as soon as I get them on 8/30.
By the way, your probably not gonna get 305 tires to fit on the stock 9" wheels. Personally, I wouldn't go any wider than 285.

Alright, sorry about the delay. Good ole' Ernesto made this one crappy weekend. I was out on Wednesday night in the rain puttin' these babies on and oh man these rock! Then last night it stopped raining for about an hour, so me and a buddy removed the rear blocks to lower it 2". This week and a half old truck is already starting to look like its mine! Let's see if I can get these pictures to work. If so, enjoy.

ok, im looking into making the purchase. I have found them on ebay, only problem is i cannot find any brand new ones that include center caps for a reasonable price, nor can i find the center caps by themselves. How did you get the center caps? Can i get them from a ford dealer? can i buy the actual rims and tires from a ford dealer?
