Question 20" wheel and tire combo?

Hey ya'll from Lake Havasu City, AZ...

My 1st post here... I recently bought an 03 S-Crew and was wondering... If I bought 20" wheels, what size tire would I use to most closely match the stock overall wheel/tire diameter? I just want to try and stay as close to stock diameter as much as possible so that maybe I don't have to worry so much about recalibration...

TIA,
Dan

Welcome to the site. What size are your OEM tires?

Does 275/45R20 sound about right?

275/60-17 = 30.0in
275/45-20 = 29.7in

I would think that would be close enough to not throw things off much, huh?

You could also go with a 285/50-20 which will be the same height, but 1/2 inch wider.

I had the same concerns as you, BRUZRs when I put 20'"s on. I went with the 285/50-20 tire combo and im glad I did. That slight difference in size makes a world of difference in appearance...just my personal opinion

I use a 295-40-20 and love the look.
So does most everyone that see's it.
Good luck!
