2k4 f150 question

Would i be able to fit any 33x11.5s on my 2k4 f150's stock wheels? I have the 4x4 model and the wheels seem a bit slim to me, i may have to buy new wheels insted. I am looking into the pro comp 33x11.5s, then getting a two inch body lift in the front, and dropping some of the leaf springs in the back. Any advice?

You could fit those tires on your stock wheels. You cant do a body lift in the front and not the rear. You can uncrank your torsion bars in the front and remove the factory blocks in the rear. That may get you the look you are after. I may have misuderstood your post, but it seems like you want to raise the front and lower the rear. Are you trying to lower the whole truck? Or level it? What are you really trying to accomplish?

MT or AT pro comp?

Should i go with the MT or the AT pro comp. I love the look of the MT but realisticly, i will not use the MT that much, or if never. Does anyone know how the pro comp MT holds up on paved road? Or are there any other mud tires that are suitable for paved roads. any advice would be great. Thanks

If i wanted to have the front higher than the rear, i would probably just remove the factory lift blocks in the rear and then crank the torsion bars a few turns.

Thanks for all the feedback, i am learning alot

the tires arnt 33x11.5, they are 33x12.5. Is this a problem? will they still fit my stock wheels? btw, could i also add a 2.5inch leveling kit in the front and drop the stock rear leaf springs in the back? I think this will get me my desidered baja look. ANy feedback is greatly appreciated.
-thanks

Yes, a 33x12.50-17 will fit on the stock 17x7.5 inch rims. The center portion of the tire may wear slightly faster than the rest of the tire. Also, the 04's have coil over shocks. They do not have torsion bars. (unless you are talking about an 04 Heritage which is basically an 03). If you want to raise the front of the truck, install a set of coil spring spacers. (Daystar, RevTek, Skyjacker, etc.)

Are you saying your gonna try and put 16.5's on a 17" wheel? That wont work. Maybe I just cant read today, but is that what your asking?

The Pro Comp AT's, MT's, **** Cepek Radial FC II and Mickey Thompsom Baja Radial MTX are all available in 33x12.50-17. Also, I just say an 04 on FTW. He was running 35x12.50's on the stock wheels with just a 2.5 inch Daystar lift. He said he had very minor rubbing with this combo. So, you should be fine with 33's.
