I had a guy call me on an ad I posted on rims for sale and he wanted to know if my rims would fit his truck. Does anybody know??

ford makes a six lug hub?? this would be the first that i've heard of.. so obviously no it wouldn't fit

 

Nope Ford has NEVER made a 6 lug. They have a 5 lug, 7 lug, and an 8 lug on the trucks. If they are the stock rims off your truck you have a 5 on 135mm pattern, and that won't match the chevys.

The Chevy 1500 needs the extra lug so the wheels don't fall off when they are sitting on the side of the road with the hood up and the driver is as to why it broke down on him.

 

ford does make a 6 lug rim it's on the new f450 super duty trucks and my 65' f350 truck with a dump bed has 6 lug split rims but these will not fit chevy's

 

And on the 04 up F150.

I'm no sure why you are so sure that Ford did not make a 6 lug but you are definitely wrong they also made a 7 lug rim on the f150

 

at the time he made the statement, 2001, he was correct.
