yes, they will fit. You can fit up to a 315/75R16 (35x12.5x16) on a stock 16x7. It bulges a lot, but hey, it looks good. A friend has 305/70R16 Baja Claws on stock 16x7 rims...its a chevy, but they measure the same. I know you can fit em though, 'specially with a lift if you have one. If not, you might have to trim some. Hope this helps...

NO NO NO NO they are not made for that size of a rim they need at least a 8" rim I have seen them on a 7" but you can run the risk of haveing a blow out. if you don't want to go and buy new rims I would put on the BFG 295/75r16 they should work, or go out and buy a 16x9 that would be the best..

Bigred where do you get your info? we all need to be carefull and look out for our fellow members and not stear them down a road that they can get hurt.. you see a lot of people doing things and sometimes there are not the safest thing to do..

I got my info from work at I work for goodyear...

Listen to BigRed!
I along with millions of others run the 305's or the 315's on the stock wheels.

MN99F150-1:
Are the bolt patterns the same for the F150 and Navigator? How about the backspacing and offset? I am looking to replace the wheels and tires on a '99 Navigator and would like to see them stick out a about an inch or two further than stock. Thanks.

kipg-we shoould think about safety it is like ski-diving thousands of people jump out of a plane and there ok but there is the chanse that you might not be ok and hit the ground a little faster that you want to.

Hotrod-I looked and the bolt patterns the same for the F150 and Navigator, but I don't know about the backspacing I will try to find out and tell you tomorrow.

i hope you listen to the ones that have done this the right way...

I guess you can look at this two different ways. Yes, they will fit on stock rims, on the other hand, is it smart to put them on stock rims? Tech data says no.

I think 'millions of others' is stretching it a bit, but there are several others that run 305s on 16x7 rims w/o a problem.

I took the advice of people that do this for a living and bought 16x8 rims for my 305s even though I didn't want to.

If you like the look and want to save the money, go for it. Personally, I think the 16x8 are too narrow for 305s and doesn't 'look good', but that's only me.

MN99F150-1: Not to be rude AT ALL, , but I have never heard of having a blowout because you stretched rim size 1" farther than recommended. I know a friend who has 33x12.5 on 15x14 rims. They look like crap, but if he keeps the air pressure high, its not a problem, lowering to 14 psi or less will cause him to blow a bead or allow the tire to come off the rim (he's done it a couple times offroading). Several of my friends are running 315/75s or 305/70s (same width) on a 16x7. Just keep air pressure normal. A friend of mine who owns a tire shop and does a lot of offroading says "you can actually fit the tire on a 16x6 rim, but that's risking it- 16x7 IS ok". Like i said, i've never heard of this happening. But thats me. I almost ran this setup. But got new rims instead. Anywayz, hope this helps someone!
