Post 315/75-16 or 295/75-16 BFG KO's

Anyone have any pic's with the 315's on their truck? I'm ordering a 3" body lift this week, and wondering if anyone has this setup. Also, if the 315's a little to much for my gearing (i have a SC with 3.55LS) i may go for the 295's. Any pics and/or suggestions?

Thanks,

Ron

I am pretty sure the 315s wont fit your truck even with a 3 inch body lift....So you better go with the 295s......Dave

Dave I have to say I disagree. As I have personally seen a 97 F-150 with a perf. accessories 3" running the 315/75/16's. Also there are others on the list that have the same set up already, just not in the BFG.

97 4X4 Flareside 4.6 5-Speed, Superchip, ASP underdrives, Airaid, Dynamax headers, Borla Cat-back, 5% Tint, 285/75/16, 16x8 Baha's, Rancho 9000's.

Soon to come:

Cool

Yeah, but they aren't gonna fit just perfect. There is gonna have to be some trimming involved. I have seen all kinds, up close and personal. Here is my question, why run such big a tire with a moderate lift? I would always think you would want some room in between, for space, and for off-road reasons. But hey, it's your call. Personally, I think big ED has the 4x4 set up, looks really good. 4" Rancho lift, and 33/12.50/16.5's.

Thanks for the info. The 3" body lift is just the start. I've got about 6 inches of room in my garage before the truck would hit the door. So, i'll start with body lift and tires and go from there...Maybe a bigger garage would help. :-) I would like to add a suspension lift later.

Mudder, you know about how much that 4" RAncho lift set Ed back? I'm needing to do the same here. My tires are filling the wheel well too well, and can't jump the bumps any more without banging. Wow, that last sentence sounded like something from a Dr Suess book.

I have seen many of trucks with those tires on them, even 36s. Theres has been plenty of room without trimming fenders or anything. I personally am lifting my truck this weekend with a 3" body. and am putting those exact tires on. I also am planning on adjusting my torsion bars for even more room. I will put a pick up as soon as its done.

Guys,
Hey if I am wrong I appologize, I know I would have to trim mine and its a hair taller than big eds...They say it hits the front valance and you have to trim, also ccla had to trim inside of his wheel well..I too had the 315 special ordered and cancelled do to the trim factor. I will wait till I lift the truck another 3 inches before I do it..Good luck..

Sorry Dave but I will need those things to trade for cigarettes...even though I don't smoke I'll need 'em to keep Bubba away from me.
Hopefully the slider will go in this weekend.
Thanks for the snug lid compliment.
We have mixed reviews on that so far.
I do Love the BEDRUG though.
See ya at the heat wave
