Thumbs up Just got my MTR's mounted (285-70-17)

Those tires are awesome!!! Minor rubbing on the factory molded mudflaps, but nothing a razor cant take care of. God damn tire shop put 40 lbs in them. I lowered it to like 36 in all four. Is that about right???

I have 33/12.5/16.5 on a supercrew with a 4"susp lift. I run 32 front and 30 rear for the dreaded pavement, I run anywhere from 14-16 sand/slickrock to 20 -22lb offroad(desert). Pretty much dependant on the feel you want combined with emphasis on the conditions.
Unless you are carrying a load I would suggest that is too much pressure, but it is up to you

I just put the MTR's on my truck and I love them. I think I will start playing with the tire pressure to get a better ride.

I am suprised your tires rub?? My 285's don't rub at all. I really like my tires and I would assume you will to.

did you mount your 17" tires on the factory 7.5" wide wheels? If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay, and where did you get 'em?

Thanks,

Jason

I have my 285/70/17 GY Wrangler MT/R's mounted on my stock wheels and I paid $850 with mounting and balancing for my tires.
