Post Air Force 1 air intake system

Does anyone have the new Air Force 1 air intake system? I have a 2001 F150 4.6L V8. I am looking for better gas mileage and the extra ponies wouldn't hurt either. I just installed a Flow Master dual exhaust cat back system and what a difference it makes. I am hoping the Air Raid or Air Force 1 from

will also help.
Thanks, John

Hey Lightfighter01, I just ordered my AF-1 from the online store here at F150, they had the best price I could find. I can't wait to put it on my truck. I'll let you know how it works. I think the AF-1 is better looking and advertises more HP gains. Just my .02

OK flip, keep me posted. If the AF 1 works I want to order a Super Chip next. I am performance oriented right now. When this F-150 is running hot, then I will put on a new hood and maybe new wheels.

Your truck and Porche look awesome. I really like the look of the AF1. Have you noticed any gas mileage improvements?

lightfighter01 i installed the airaid before the superchip and i believe (by seat of the pants) i had more power. i also believe that airforce1--k&n--airaid fipks all give about the same power and so I purchased the airaid which was cheaper at the time. be sure and get the superchip it is the best bang for the buck in my opinion.
i didn't notice any gas mileage improvment but i had only 738 miles on my truck when i put it on. i have 1700 now and still only get about 13.1 mpg. sorry but i don't think they help on that.(could be wrong tho==my wife seems to allways think im wrong about everything too.--lol)

    Cool

Thanks for hte compliments on the truck. I really don't audit gas mileage like I should. So I can't tell you if it helped there or not. I ran a tank of gas thru it yesterday and then again today (had out of town trips on back to back days for business). I got 300 Miles out of each tank but don't know how that compares to others. Let me know if that is bad or good. I run fast and don't do anything otherwise to try to conserve fuel when on the road. Take care,

All that have the AF1, do you have oil for the filter yet? The K&N cleaning kits come with red oil but I wondered if anyone has found the blue oil yet? Thanks!

ELKTAGAZ, I have two dirt bikes and use Belray (air filter) oil for my air filters. I imagine you can use this for the AF1 filter also. Anyone have any takes on this?
