First off this is probably a waste of a thread, because I wanted to race from a lower speed, but he would never slow down below 70mph. The oppponents truck was an ext. cab F-150 V6 with exhaust. I am guessing it was an auto, but can't be sure. This occured on I-10 coming into Baytown about 15 min ago. Basically this guy gave it some gas as he came beside me and took off. I wasn't expecting it so I just kept my cruise on and let him go. I caught up to him a few miles down the road since he slowed down. As soon as my blinker came on he took off over 90mph.

Eventually I caught him again and as soon as I went to get beside him he switched lanes in front of me and took off. I switched 3 lanes caught and passed him like it was nothing.
He then got on my rear until I moved over a lane. I waited to hear his exhaust open up and for him to come up on me. He got the jump from about 70mph and I stuck my foot in it. I walked him with NO PROBLEMS!

I really wanted to race from a slower start, but since we were on the highway I guess it wasn't possible. I expected to win, but figured he had some mods since he was picking the fight. Granted I have left some stuff out to not make this too long!

 

I'm proud of you! That had to be a nice feeling, even if it was another F150! I bet he was shaking his head when you got done with him!

HAHA Nah not really. He just kept trying to get my attention, so I finally gave him more than he could handle. His truck was a turd if my truck could beat him that easy.

Only 5 more months and I will be back in a mustang. I can't wait.

 

You don't wanna race me 02XLT. If you were tough enough with that truck you'd show up at the track in your backyard Friday. I will be there Friday at 5:30p.m. to test the crank pulley. I'll have the stock fan on too.

We will have to do it some weekday. My fiance lives in Conroe and I only see her on the weekends until we get married. I am not scared. I have to go to 1960 on the other side of 45 tonight. I can cut through humble area if you want to meet up?? I would be passing through the area prally around 8:00ish??

You let me know what you want to do? I would think it should be a fairly close race if we go the distance? Any thoguhts? Later man

When someone shoots at me I don't look to see what size gun he has. He gets it back full force. If some one wants to race the "JMC" rules of racing provide for a no or a yes response. If either says no the rules state that a gentleman's
agreement has been reached and that no offence is taken and there is no name calling allowed.
If it is a yes, the pedal goes to the floor and he who won can brag and he who lost must endure the humiliation. Pick your fights boys. None of this you have a bigger gun stuff. Put up or shut up.

GREAT 02XLT!!! You pick the spot to meet up at and at what time... this is not a problem. I kinda thinking of meeting up on the feeder at rankin. since your going up 59N. just get off the rankin rd. exit and you'll see me there with my hazards on waiting for you. this way we can race from a stand still. then i can follow you through 1960 heading to 45 and pick a spot to race from a 20mph roll. If not we can just meet up at walmart parking lot just west of 59 on 1960. I could wait at the sams club gas station and we can take off heading toward 45 and see what comes up to get a race in. whatever you want to do. 8:00ish sounds great. this is my area and have no plans tonight so you make the time and place which is convienent(?) for you.

I was planning on coming up through Crosby. But if 59 is closer to you then that is cool. Lets pick a place to stop and BS a bit about our trucks before we take off racing. Any place you know of that is easy to find to meet at? I don't really go to that area of town allot. However I think I may move to Kingwood instead of the Woodlands in another 4 months.

7:30 tonight 1960 walmart parking lot by the gas station. right behind the Mr. Carwash place. just get off the business 1960/1960 exit and make a left over the bridge on 1960. about 1 mile down on the left. Cya there.
