Cool How much is a Volant Intake?

I've been looking at these, and I was wondering how much they run pricewise. It gets REALLY hot where I live, so every little bit counts as far as underhood temps go. I have the K&N fipk right now, but if the Volant isn't outrageous, I may go for it. How much are they???,,,,98

I too was interested in that intake. Do they use a K&N filter element?

I like to stay away from the oiled filters for certain reasons.

Smile

I'm not overly concerned with the oiled filters, but it looks to be that type. It just looks like they use blue oil, instead of red.,,,,98

A few people around here have them. I was going to buy one but they cost about $270! I ended up getting the MAC intake for about half as much, but it is an open element design like the other fipks. Oh well at least we don't have Texas temps here!

The Volant is probably the most expensive FIPK out there, but I'd get one over any other without a doubt, especially if u live in a hot climate most of the year. Yes, the Volant basically uses a K&N filter without the K&N badges. If u want looks, get the AF1 or Mac. If you want power, get the Volant. Mis dos centavos!

Wow, didn't know they cost that much? May have to rethink it. Thanks for the replies, though. I noticed I didn't see a price anywhere on their site ,,,,,98

If you do decide to get the Volant, get the one with the enlcosed air filter. Seems they are now offering a fipk with the open element as well.
