My truck below?

it is an auotmatic. Just wondering so I don't pick a fight that I can't win.

 

Basically 0-60 is how long it takes you to go from 0mph to 60mph. Of course the lower the time, the better. Don't want to know what my 0-60 time is. I think an 02 sensor might be gone. Everybody with the 4.6 and some with the 5.4 seem to get better gas mileage than me. Also seen better times with a stock 4.6.

What else you want to know? it is slow 10-12 seconds. If you want a 6 sec attempt, buy the lightning or use your mustang. Lets not be stupid here. Keep it off the street

 

Don't you think that is a little harsh Matt90GT ? A simple question deserves a simple answer. I figure since everyone on this board is so performance oriented I could get an idea of how fast or slow it is.

As far as shi*y fart tipped hondas are concerned. I wouldn't waste my gas racing one in the mustang much less in my truck.

What are you driving? Got a truck or just the mustang? Just curious.

 

Misunderstood the question. Now that I am awake I understand it and could answer it. My truck would be lucky to get a 12 sec. 0-60.

 

A 2wd Reg cab with 4.6 should do 0-60 somewhere between 8.5-9.0 seconds. My 210hp '97 Reg cab flairside clocked in at ~9 seconds before adding 31.5" AT tires. Now it's probably closer to 9.5...

 

I've seen numbers of about 9.6 for an extended cab F150 with 4.6, so my guess would be low nines.

For what I drive? Depends on the mood. I have the 97 4x4, 96 xr600 street legal (know what that is?), and a Griggs GR40 mustang to choose from. If I get really bored I can drive to my parents and drive my moms convertible mustang or the '39 hotrod with a 302 EFI in it.

Thank you to everyone that answered my "silly" question. I was just curious how fast or slow the truck was. I don't plan on racing it all over town.

As for '02, who cares about 0-60 in a truck. You obviously did not buy the lightning, so that was not your concern with the truck. you know it is slow in comparison to a mustang, so why even bother. Use a truck to haul loads no a$$.

If you have to ask what a GR40 Mustang is, I should not even waste my time explaining it as you have no concept what is wrong with the 79 fairmont you call a '89 LX.

people, this is the internet, dont take things so seriously. matt did come out a little rude, but who cares? he knows his stuff, he's helped out a lot of people on this board (with a little attitude now and then, but its all good). if you dont agree with what he says then thats cool, but dont take it personal. "cant we all just get along?"
