I haven't read everything here. Well I guess you found out that you have to use the Marks PCM , -and what may not jive doing so lol.

At least you have the doner. - Makes it all possible.

Will the Marks ignition fit the 150 (switch) ? It should.

Interesting, cool!

Getting the dash and components (cluster and such) to fit, is the next hurdle.

Craigslist is the best hands down. Looking for a good 200 amp welder for along time. Found a MillerMatic 250 that was just listed for a 100 bucks at an estate sale. Jumped on that, it looked brand new once I cleaned it up. Shoot the cables alone that came with that machine are worth more than 100 bucks lol.

I met at least 3 resellers that used eBay to make they're small fortunes. Cashed in. Purchasing from Craigslist, then reselling on eBay or Amazon. I now see how that can work.

Thanks Blue. -Yea, I've been getting picked on lately. Darn Bully's! Twice now, I've had to go for long drives, listening to old Conway Twitty music in order to regain my abused confidence back. No respect, -I'm tellin yuh...

Possibly. As long as I keep the rpm's up that is. Personally, I'd rather go with an engine that doesn't have to fight so hard just to keep up with traffic.

Quick update-week 3

So everything is set for the truck to roll in, gotta fab up some motor mounts, and maybe spice a few trans wires. Got the motor and the trans serviced and detailed. Pressure cleaned the F-150 top to bottom. Straightened up the shop, and did a tool inventory..Only lost about 10 snap-on's. FML

With turkey day coming, I don't expect to get alot done this week, but that's been said before and we got a ton done, so...we'll see.

Anyway here's some eye candy for ya'll.

Update

The holidays slowed progress some, but we got the thru firewall wiring done and about 80% of the behind dash ready for testing. Motor mounts are fighting me. Does anyone know a place that could custom make mounts for this application?

Forgive me as I can't see the pictures right now but shouldn't the Mark VIII's block have provisions for the same mounts as the F-150?

It should fit. The 5.4 4v fits in the same hole in the Navigators/Blackwoods. You might need to get a different intake manifold tho.

I believe if you swap the upper part of the motor mounts it should drop right in. The 01/02 Cobra and Mach1 had the 4.6 4v with similar motor mounts to the F150
