Defrost runs on everything except for the "vent" setting.

That's what keeps the compressor from locking up, for those who don't use it all that much.

Panel will not engage the a/c, use that one. Dont confuse defrost and heat it simply turns on the a/c and blows it onto the inside of the windshield/screen. The a/c pulls moisture out of the air and dries things out hence why defrost clears the "fog" off the glass. With the setting on panel there is no a/c engagement and reason for the drain to....drain. I see that you are in the UK where the relative humidity is very high and why so much dripping occurs.

it depends. The Camaro's the general sells now wouldnt be entry level. None of them. in the 80's GM sold some of them as entry level cars. V6 and I think they even had a 4 cylinder one. Like I said I had 4. A 75 type LT an 85 Z-28 an 86 Z-28 and an 86 coupe. There ok. I like Mustangs better now that I've had a couple of those..

I purchased one of those once. Right out the show room. The last Iroc Z made in 1990.

I like the 92 Z-28. Almost bought one. The last decent Camaro until they came out with this recent one. the 93 on were ugly as sin. Went to the chevy dealer to look at it and could not believe how nasty it was. Looked like a fancy Saturn..

if it was wet on floor pan, could be a heater core problem? but you said you weren't losing antifreeze?
