How does it just go away?

Alright, a few weeks ago i made a post about a p0308 cyl #8 misfire...So I changed to a new mc cop, plug was near new, and it came back...So i pulled the coil, checked for spark and there was spark. Then i decided to switch #8 injector with #1 to see if it was the injector, i put the same new coil back on #8 and it still misfired a bit then all of a sudden it just went away and i cant get it to mis again and throw a code to see if it moved to #1. Im wondering how it just went away on its own just because i switched the injectors..If #8 injector was bad, it would move the misfire to #1 which is what i was waiting for,.....Anyone have any explanation on how it just kinda fixed itself? Thanks

It's a living, breating animal with a mentality all it's own. It does what it wants to. You showed it some attention so it decided to straighten up!

Light finally burned out!

Could have been crap on the plug and it burned off after driving with a good coil in it. Takes a little time for something like that to burn off.

That's my guess and I'm sticking with it.

What I was trying to say was that maybe the plug was partially fouled with the old weak coil. Then when you put the new coil on it the spark was hotter, so it eventually burned it self clean. That would explain why the misfire didn't follow the injector. Knowhatimean...Vern?
