Well, I wish I new whether or not the throttle body is the same size, because that's what you really need and it might be worth purchasing just for that. What your looking at in that ebay pic is two main pieces. 1. the throttle body and 2. the throttle body elbow.

I'll email a few people that might know. - If you can wait. (?)

I can wait, and thank you for your time looking into this for me. It looks like I'm still going to need the correct EGR valve though. So I'll order that, but before doing so I'll post on here just to be sure. Let me know & Thank you again.

When I looked up the factory number 2L1U-CA

I find on google

http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...www.google.com

That link and it's showing it fits the 5.4 and 4.6

Yea, looks like it will. Just bolt it to your elbow. Now all you need is the EGR valve.

Well now I have some extra parts maybe I can help someone on here with if they need them.

Now to hunt down that valve, should I go with motorcraft? Normally I would just figured I'd ask.

2000 Expy 5.4?

Rockauto.com -

OEM Motorcraft EGR valve is $94.99. Aftermarkets are $33.79 to $66.79. Some come with gaskets, some don't. Gaskets are $1.97 to $5.92.

They don't list a throttle body.

What you could do is check with tascaparts.com, they go by VIN there. They are probably the cheapest source for OEM and they are a forum sponsor. Tasca is a large Ford dealer in Cranston, looks like you could just take a run over there.

Tasca, yep right down the street. $94.24 on the EGR, much better than the mechanics $200 price tag. I would rather buy motorcraft at this point.

The ebay seller is sticking by his word that that is for a 5.4. I'm obviously taking your guys word for it, you've never steered me wrong.

You have a 2000 Expy ? Some of those Expy's & Navigators are different. An easy way to tell, just in case, do this, - see where your IAC is located. All 5four locations are usually at the very back of the throttle body elbow. If yours is along side the elbow, (which I doubt, but I could be wrong) then I would have to agree with the seller. The 5.4L IAC is usually located here -

Confirm were yours is mounted.

Yea just a quick look under the hood and you'll know. The IAC will either be in front of back. Ebay pic shows front, my pics show back.
