Depends what your looking for.
If your looking for cheap, Motorcraft
If your looking for longevity, I would go with Motorcraft
If your looking for dependability, Hmm. Motorcraft
If your looking for standard performance, Motorcraft
If your going for more hp, Spray paint your rims and put flame stickers on your hood, thats at least 50hp

Anyone else notice the new Bisquick adds up top. Now I'm hungry

You don't have wires. I think Motorcraft has Iridium fine wire plugs for that engine. It might have just been for the older 4two's, but I think they spec'ed 4six as well.. (?)

I could check, unless you know already.

^^^ What he said. Have you actually LOOKED under the hood at the engine and the spark plug access on this engine? Just because you've "changed plugs" before on other vehicles doesn't mean you are up to the "Ford Modular Engine Challenge." It's very do-able, but a PITA. Make sure you have lots of ratchet extensions, universal knuckles and band-aids.

Have fun!

Jim

Well, you couldn't of picked a better place to get schooled

Lesson 1:

Yea, I haven't looked under your hood either. However, I can assure you this, if you have the 4.6L V8, - you do not have spark plug wires.

You have a CoilOverPlug (COP) ignition system. System consists of 8 dedicated coils, -1 per cylinder.

This gives reason why no plug wires exist with your engines system.

Hope that helps
