Wonder if my E4OD would bolt up to this - probably not -

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-...t_16126wt_1617

I emailed to see if they would separate. - Hell, it's only got 38k on it.

Could the E4OD take the pressure?
Might end up looking like Swiss cheese

It would!! For sure - Damn, there's a way to do this. I think I would have to build mine.

Damn , I'm debating on tearing mine completely down this week

Ahh crap, I'll test it first. Just paranoid. - I wonder how long you can run lean before it screws the motor up??

The last trip from Indiana , we were loaded heavy , about 4000 lbs + , it pulled better loaded than empty, but I know I lost some power. I can't pull that trailer empty in OD anymore. Trailers 1900 lbs. I know it was the plugs now. I just gotuh compression test it and get this off my mind.

If alls good. I might as well not even look at the PCM. - The sticker on the PCM is useless if the PCM has been reflashed (and it most likely has been in 2000 = New motor/drivetrain has 288,000 miles on it) so the best thing is to take it from the display during bootup according to the tuner.

I know that's the general rule with towing, but hell - That truck didn't even feel 1900 lbs in the past. If I pulled that trailer empty across state in 3rd gear vrs OD , It was a difference of 9 mpg vrs 16 mpg. The truck pulled empty no problems , no downshifting or anything of that nature - did it for years. It wasn't until recently it wouldn't do it, but then again, my Carquest brakes fell apart in Indiana. I had to pull my calipers @ 2am in the morning on the side of the exspress-way - that was fun!! I had to chisle the rest of the pad plates off the pads, just so I could keep running.

I replaced the entire brake system - lines and everything now, that won't happen again -

Lines (hard lines and rubber) Calipers (steel pistons this time) Brembo rotors, new master - she should stop on a dime now.

When I bought my 97 {built 4-23-96} it had 60k on it. The damn tranny went at 75k. I think whoever owned it before was pulling with it. I found out later, the hitch had been taken off at the stealership.
I don't know what model trans is in it, but my Son is driving it right now. it'll be rolling over 200,000 soon.

Looks good , does it have a hood scoop on it? Looks a little different - Maybe it's just the front bumper - where's the rear ?
