I have been renovating my master bathroom so the truck has been on hold for a little while. I got all the parts for the transmission swap except for a 9.75 diff, but will have one in the next week and will be doing the swap the week after Halloween weekend.

I doubting it but just cerious...I basically have done everything i can get for gains, and i want more, but i dont have funs for building the block quite yet.
Yes, all stock bottom end(It has a forged crank, the 5.4 DOHC motors have a forged crank but regular powdered metal rods and pistons, same as the Lightnings have) with a D1SC 3-core intercooled Pro-charger at 10# of boost. The DOHC heads REALLY LOVE boost and respond very well to it! The internals on any of our truck motors hold up pretty good with boost as long as you have a good(safe) tune. I ran the 4.6 engine at 12# and a good tune for almost a year with no problem and that motor has no forged internals.
It is a super charger system for a 4.6 2v so I fabbed a plate to bolt it to the 32v motor, here's a pic....

exactly what he said,as long as you have a solid tune you are fine, my green truck is on the stock long block and 15# until I get the new motor finished

if you had a 5.4 converter I'd give it a try but that 4.6 converter is gonna contribute to a breakage of somekind

Question

Anything new with this? I'm considering doing the 5.4L navi swap on my 97' 4x4 F150. Currently I have a P1SC on my 4.6... Same as black02eb had. Done the 4R100 swap yet? If not I bet that 4R70W is getting tired real fast. Keep us updated!

Nice work. I have been wondering if the Navi 5.4L 4v swap is worth it in my 02 Expedition with a tired stock 5.4L 2v. How hard was the swap? I already have a 4r100 and a 9.75 rear diff stock in the SUV. Is this a cake walk or is there a lot of work involved?

navi 32v

Hi I am trying to do something similar but not as cool. I have a 2005 f150 i would like to put a navi motor in. Im not trying to go supercharged. (at least not now) Do you have any suggestions on year of navi to get it from? I have the single pickup on my cam gear are there any navi engines that already have that? also what tuning software should i use? do you have any suggestions on doing this? exhaust, accessory use/any modifications to make it fit? what throttle body/intake manifold and fuel rail? thank you in advance.
