and if you have been paying attention to my swap thread, the best way to sit the motor down in the bay is to remove the engine mounts from the engine, zip-tie the spacer plate to the back of the block, drop in, line up torque converter boltswith fly wheel, mate transmission and engine using the dowels, bolt up trans, then install the engine mount on the block itself, then set engine down all the way. mounts will slide right in. . . cheesy

I am going to run a 2v truck bracket which will probably have to be modified slightly. I will post some pics when I get to that stage.

Wink

The 4.6 is out. I will be building the engine harness tomorrow , have to switch injector connections from the EV1 to the EV6 connectors and shorten/lenghten some of the sensor wires.

Wiring harness is complete. Going to modify the charger bracket similar to the pics you gave me but it will be a two piece. The lower charger pulley will not work from the 4.6 so I am ordering one for a 5.4 on Monday. The harmonic balancer on the Navi engine looks exactly like the 5.4 f150 one but it is a 6 rib , so may have to change to f150 8 rib pulleys on the engine. Still need to fab an alternator bracket and find out what to torque the Navi lower/upper intake at.

It'll be nice to see this up and running. I've got an 02 dohc that i am degreeing the factory cams on right now on an engine stand to go into my 97 4x4. i picked up a pair of cobra manifolds from a swap meet to go twin turbo . These manifolds are not near as restrictive as the stock navi manifolds but they will require adifferent downpipe unless you are going to use headers. good luck. following along
