Nice install. How is the radiator holding up where the bolt holding the fan to the brace touches it?

Regards

Good, we also added an angle aluminum bracket across the top for more support. He's planning on going to a dual core in the next year, so im sure he will do an update at that point with more pics of how its all holding up. Mine has been installed like that for 2 months with no noticable problems or wear on the radiator.

97XL if you pay for a plane ticket and a passport im game

Wanted to post a follow up

Patrick was great with installing everything, I am a bit obsessive about my truck and his install met my very high standards. The install really looks OEM if you did not know any better. Patrick did everything even mildly complicated and I did the brainless task (shut up Blue)

Results are better acceleration, cooler engine temps & much cooler A/C.

I am sure the MPG have improved, I am getting a pretty steady 19-10 on the freeway. I have not driven it enough though to know the city/Hwy mixed results.

With the old fan, in traffic, while idling my water temp would get to 207 at times and the A/C would start to blow air out around 50* even on recirculate. Now in the same traffic with both e-fans running the truck stays around 198-200 water temp and the A/C blows a steady 37*. On my commute home I have never had to back off the A/C, it stayed on max till I got home. Since the e-fan install it will freeze me out and halfway home I have to back off the air a bit to stay comfortable.

Very happy with the finished products and results. It was also great to meet Patrick, nice guy and very knowledgeable.

My truck has never run that hot, I think it has been to 197 a couple of times. Must be that Houston smog causing that.

It really does make a big difference in the performance of your A/C. It blows colder quicker and just colder in general. I've had mine for a little over a year now and no problems whatsoever.. BTW scott you stole my mounting place...

Guilty , sure was a pain grinding down those plastic pieces so we had a flat surface to mount everything to. My arms were numb after that. It is a great spot for the switches, out of the way but still within reach

yea. faster and I re-wired mine like 3 months ago so now I only have one switch and it turns both fans on. He also wired it into the ignition switch so when the trucks off the fans go off as well.
